Our approach harnesses parametric modeling, streamlined electronic data transfer to manufacturing, and a range of processes to meticulously customize engineering solutions. This aligns us precisely with the project’s unique technical and budgetary prerequisites.
Manufacturing Capabilities
Franklin is your all-inclusive destination for composite solutions. We offer a comprehensive suite of capabilities, encompassing tool fabrication, composite processing, and precision part machining and finishing. We leverage a variety of materials in tooling, and our material repertoire spans the entire spectrum of composites.
Our extensive range of processes includes press cure, vacuum oven, resin transfer molding (RTM), vacuum assisted resin transfer molding (VARTM), and spray layup. To support these processes, we are equipped with multiple hot and cooled presses, ovens, cutting-edge 4-axis and 5-axis machining centers, and precision ply cutters.
Design Analysis
Whether your project demands static or dynamic analysis, our team excels at modeling composite products, employing a ply-by-ply approach that precisely defines material and orientation. This expertise ensures the development of the most lightweight and efficient solution for your specific application.
Furthermore, we have a rich history of extensive material testing, particularly in aerospace applications. Which has enabled us to compile a proprietary database containing a wealth of data on composite fibers and resins. This invaluable resource empowers us to design products that not only meet but confidently exceed rigorous testing requirements.
